Coliemore (XXL)

This painting entitled "Coliemore" depicts the stunningly beautiful scene of Coliemore Harbour in Dalkey, South County Dublin.  Two fisherman out bright an early at sunrise with five colourful boats bobbing on the water.

Painted with spray paint, acrylic ink, glitter and liquid chrome on canvas the artwork has real reflective vibrancy and lustre.  The metallic silver and chrome highlights in the sea play with the sunlight as it moves around the room throughout the day and the artwork the artwork takes on a warm glow of nightfall as one dims the lights and turns the lamps on in the evening.

A metallic copper paint is used for the chain draped over the  harbour wall, drawing the viewer into the scene.

Created here in an XXL size (measuring 158 cm wide x 108cm tall) within a large wooden, contemporary tray frame; this piece makes a fun, bold and impactful statement in any room and is ready to hang as pictured.
